On Dec. 5, Apex DECA held a Teacher Variety Show in support of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Dr. Kearney returned to the Peak to co-host the show with Ms. Hofmann, and the night began with a few talents from the duo. Ms. Hofmann played her clarinet and handbells, and Dr. Kearney kept the audience laughing with her comedic commentary.

On December 4, 2019, Apex High’s DECA chapter loaded up five buses to go downtown to the Raleigh Convention Center.
