Fun Things To Do Over Winter Break

With more than a week left until winter break, there is no doubt that students are excited. But with that comes one question, what is there to do in those twelve days? While there are numerous things you could do, here are six fun activities to do over the break.

Everyone loves sweet treats, so what better way to spend your break than to bake some cookies with your friends and family? After you bake them, you can decorate them too or just eat them plain. Either way, there is no doubt that everyone will enjoy spending time with their loved ones and eating something sweet.

While you are enjoying your cookies, you can also spend your time binging Christmas movies with your friends and family. Watching your favorite Christmas movies while bundled up with a mug of hot chocolate and some treats is a fantastic way to spend these chilly days. It is a quick way to pass the time and fun for everyone.

At 5:15pm, Mayor Jacques Gilbert will light the shamash on the menorah. For more details on the event, you can visit the official website here.

If you want to do something outside of your house, but do not want to walk around in the cold, the Christmas lights on Holt Road are a must-see. Not only can you see the lights in the comfort of your car, but this lights display is gorgeous and definitely something you will not regret.
