What You Can Expect From Netflix In 2018

Netflix has certainly changed since its launch in 1997. The company has transformed from a DVD-by-mail provider to a billion dollar on-demand streaming business that provides to more than 110 million people. Check out what will be joining Netflix this January:

  • National Treasure (January 1)

Historian Ben Gates (Nicholas Cage) has spent his entire life searching for treasure that dates back to the creation of the United States. Gates and his long-time friend and fellow treasure hunter Ian Howe (Sean Bean) lead an expedition to find this rumored treasure. But when his colleague betrays him with all the information he has learned from Gates, it becomes a race to whom can get the document first.

  • Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee (January 5)

This Jerry Seinfeld talk show combines coffee and comedy into a one-of-a-kind, caffeine-fueled car ride with some of the most popular figures in comedy.

  • Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (January 1)

The last of five coveted “golden tickets” that give access to a tour of the strangest chocolate factory in the world falls into the hands of a Charlie Bucket (Peter Ostrum), a poor, but kind boy. Willy Wonka (Gene Wilder), the owner of this magical chocolate factory, leads the five young winners on a thrilling and often dangerous tour of his factory.

  • Batman (January 1)

Millionaire Bruce Wayne (Michael Keaton) is disguised as Batman, a costumed hero that protects Gotham City from villains. But when a deformed madman, “The Joker” (Jack Nicholson), takes control of the criminal underworld, Batman must defeat his enemy while protecting both his identity and his love interest, reporter Vicki Vale (Kim Basinger).

  • Bring It On (January 1)

The Toro cheerleading squad from San Diego has it all: a perfectly-choreographed routine, six national championship trophies, and a spirited captain. But when it comes time for the Toros to compete, they discover that the East Compton Clovers have stolen their routine…or did they?
