Summer adventures in North Carolina

Summer is approaching! If you are like me and you like to go on fun adventures during the summer, NC has many fun things to do when you are bored! During the summer in North Carolina you can do fun activities that involve lake days, beach trips, and water parks!

In North Carolina, Jordan Lake is one of the most popular lakes around Raleigh, NC. This lake is located in Chatham, County 30 miles west of Downtown Raleigh. When the weather starts getting warmer in NC, many families, adults, and teenagers like to go to this place for a hangout spot. This lake has beach accesses, picnic shelters, and boat ramps. Many people near Apex, North Carolina like to visit this lake because of its large beachy scenery where they can get sun, swim in the lake, go fishing, boating and many more activities. This is a very popular place for my friends and me to go to in the summer when we want to play volleyball in the sand, tan, and to feel that summer experience! 

North Carolina has always been known for having nice beaches! Many people come to visit with North Carolina since they have more than 25 district beaches. Most beaches in North Carolina are about 2-3 hours away from Apex which makes it perfect if you just want to visit for the day! Many beaches I like to visit in NC are Myrtle, Topsail, and Wrightsville beach. These NC beaches have beautiful water, beach shops, mini golf, and many more for people to enjoy their summer. If you live in North Carolina and want a summer vacation spot, come to the beach!

North Carolina also has many water parks that anyone can have a good time! Anywhere you go, you most likely will find a water park in NC. The most  popular ones in NC are ‘Jungle Rapids Family Fun Park’, ‘Fantasy Lake Adventure Park’, and ‘Ray’s Splash Planet’. These water parks are perfect for a fun time as most of them have lazy rivers, wave pools, and water slides that boost your adrenaline. Take a day trip to a water park and you will have the time of your life!
