Many people are wondering how is this going to work? Why is Starbucks doing this? And how do people feel about this?
Starbucks has released the information that starting on March 4th, they will be taking 13 signature drinks off the menu. The company states that they still will have most of the ingredients. When calling Starbucks, they have told us that they still will have the ingredients but if we need to add them now it costs extra. Out of the 13 drinks the 3 most popular drinks, leaving are the Caramel Ribbon Crunch Frappuchino, the Matcha Lemonade, and the Java Chip Frappuchino.
Why is Starbucks doing this? Starbucks has stated that they want to “improve quality and consistency”. This means that taking the “least popular” items off the menu will create a more simple showcase of their menu by highlighting the most popular items. Another reason Starbucks is planning on removing these drinks is that some are too complicated to make and removing these will reduce the wait time. Overall, Starbucks states that these reasons will improve the quality of their business.
