Cougars at Apex High School have such a beautiful environment thanks to the town of Apex’s amazing volunteering program. These efforts ensure that Apex remains a clean, vibrant, and supportive place to live. To have a nice environment in our town, Cougars at Apex High and residents of Apex can give back to their community by picking up litter on trails, leading the upcoming youth, giving out meals to the less fortunate, and helping out in local events.

Each piece of non-biodegradable trash has a lasting impact on the ecosystem, harming wildlife and diminishing the natural beauty of the park. One solution to this is Adopt a Trail, a program hosted by Apex, North Carolina where citizens can be assigned a local park to maintain by picking up trash, caring for plants, and preserving playgrounds. This program is amazing for preventing such occurrences.
