My Experience with Wake Tech Classes

Last week, Shivani Handa covered the benefits of Wake Tech classes here.

I have taken a Wake Tech class previously and will also be taking one in the spring.  Personally, my experience has been very positive, and I would highly recommend it. My favorite benefits are the fact that you have weekly deadlines for your assignments, and you are not rushed to complete something before another assignment. You have so much freedom, especially because the classes are online. You can do your work or studies anytime you please. I’ve also had positive experiences with communication and grading via teacher interaction and feedback. I’ve had online meetings with my professor, and she was great at helping me out with my assignments. I loved how in her weekly announcements she would list out every step, and never miss a beat, to make sure that we knew exactly what we had to do and that every student felt accounted for.

You are also able to choose from various professors most of the time depending on what class you sign up for.  One tip: you can go to RateMyProfessor website to read reviews about any of these Wake Tech professors if you are uncertain which professor you might select.

My experience with Wake Tech’s Dual Enrollment CCP program has been very positive! I cannot wait to take another class there this upcoming spring semester. I highly recommend it, especially if you are a high-achieving student who works well independently.
