The countdown to the end of the year has begun. We have approximately thirty-three more school days until the 2022-2023 school year ends. As the year wraps up, high school seniors prepare for their plans after graduation. Whether those plans include traveling abroad, taking gap years, attending colleges, or going into the workforce, it will be here before you know it!

Legacy went out and asked some students how they are preparing for graduation season as well as their future plans. 

Amber Wilson told Legacy, “I will be attending UNC Chapel Hill in the fall. I am getting ready for graduation by purchasing all my graduation necessities such as dresses, shoes, and honor cords. I am also planning my graduation party!”

Taylor Gilson sat down with Legacy where she told us, “I purchased my graduation dress from Urban Outfitters and am so excited to walk across the stage. I am planning my graduation party as well and am so excited to be surrounded by my whole family as I end my high school career.”

Owen Recavarren shared, “After graduation, I am excited to hang out with my friends and work over the summer on cars. I am also planning on attending Comic-Con in San Diego. I will be attending Virginia Tech in the fall to study mechanical engineering. Go Hokies!”

This is a very exciting season for many graduating seniors. Thank you to those who shared a glimpse into their future with Legacy and good luck to all seniors as they leave the Cougar Den!
