The theatre department is preparing for the spring musical “Curtains,” and the company and crew lists were announced on December 4. The company and crew is working to create an amazing musical you will not forget. 

The musical is about a production being put on by an eccentric company, when one of the stars is murdered. The crew is then thrown into the mystery of trying to find out what happened, while still putting on the production. Lieutenant Frank Cioffi convinces the company to continue to put on the show in hopes to catch the killer.  Through love, murder and a whole lot of drama, this murder mystery comedy is the epitome of the phrase “the show must go on”. 

The musical put on by the Apex Peak Players, will star Preston Smith as Lieutenant Frank Cioffi; Aria Avena as Niki Harris; Aryana Figueroa as Georgia Hendricks; Emily Hoder as Carmen Bernstein; Aiden Swiatkowski as Sidney Bernstein; Fionn Borgersen as Christopher Belling; Brooke Benedetti as Bambi Bernet; Talan Maggio as Daryl Grady; Ali Patalano as Jenny Harmon;  Joey Klieman as Oscar Shapiro and Parker Bolton as Bobby Pepper. The show will also include Mr. Jarvis as Sasha Iljinsky. The production’s stage manager is Hunter Dennan.

Rehearsals have started, and the first readthrough was on December 6. The tech crew has already started as well, and both the company and tech crews have been working hard to make the spring musical a success. They hope for the musical to premiere around the beginning of March.
