The Apex High varsity Girls Soccer team is doing well this season with four wins under their belt. They are fourth in the conference with two wins and two losses. The junior varsity team is also doing pretty well with three wins. In the conference they have won one game and lost three. Two of these teams biggest assets are their camaraderie and strong players.

Freshman Sammy Taylor said, “It is fun to be on the team because everyone is so supportive; it is like a big family.”

“The team is full of really good players, and it is nice to learn from the upperclassmen and see all that they can do,” explained sophomore Campbell Kerr.

Both teams are off to a good start to the seasons, and we are looking forward to see all that they will accomplish in the rest of the season. The varsity team is hoping to gain another win on Monday, March 25 against South Garner. The junior varsity team is playing against Holly Springs on Wednesday, March 27.
