Defy Gravity of Apex

You may have heard of the new trampoline park that opened in Beaver Creek called DefyApex. With there only being a DefyGravity in Durham and Raleigh, it is great to finally have one closer to us in Apex. You can find the trampoline park at 1275 Haddon Hall Drive where HHGregg used to be.

Indoor trampoline parks are popular places to go for birthday parties as well as just having fun with the family. DefyApex offers special programs such as “KidJump” (where kids six and under can go and jump without older kids being around), “Family Night”(where an entire family can jump and play for only fourty-five dollars), and “College Night” (every Thursday night, from six p.m. to nine p.m., college students with a college ID can get a discount). They also offer holiday gifts like coupons and gift cards for stocking stuffers. On Thanksgiving Day, they also had a buy one round of jumping and get another one free.

DefyApex offers activities including: open jump, dodgeball, stunt fall, aerial silks, slacklines, battle beams, super tramps, foam pits, trapeze, x-swing, basketball, airtrack, parkour, angled trampolines, ninja course, zip line, and the warped wall.

The start of a new jumping period is called a “flight”. Walk-ins are welcome, but DefyApex recommends that you purchase your tickets in advance so you can guarantee your participation. Flights begin every half hour, and DefyApex recommends that you arrive thirty minutes early to prepare for the session. If you are under the age of thirteen, you must have an adult present.

DefyApex found a way to get the word of their opening out to people in the area. They decided to hire students from surrounding area high schools like Apex High School and Apex Friendship High School and asked them to post information about the business on social media. I had several friends posting on Snapchat about applying for a job at DefyApex. Currently, I even see my friends posting videos and selfies while working at their jobs at DefyApex. These Snapchat stories bring attention to the business. Showing the bright lights, colors, and music makes others attracted to the trampoline park.

You can check out reviews on DefyApex’s Facebook page. There are many positive reviews about the business like, “Amazing place! Great vibes and attractions”, “Lots of fun things for the family to do! Fun for all ages, from my biggest kid to my youngest! The oldest says this is the best trampoline park in the area—and he’s been to all of them. So excited to have a fun place so close to home!” and “The best trampoline park my family has been to. We will be back!”.

If you haven’t been to or heard about the new Defy Gravity in Apex, you need to check it out! And remember, all participants under the age of eighteen must have a waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian in order to jump. In fact, bring your family during the winter break for exercise.
