Spotify Wrapped is a yearly tradition created by the music streaming platform Spotify. Spotify Wrapped shows users their yearly statistics with time listened, top artist and top songs. Each year Wrapped brings music listeners together by giving a representation of what they enjoy. After the release of this year’s Spotify Wrapped, I asked Apex High School students about some of the statistics that appeared on their Wrapped. First, I asked students about their top artists for 2024!

One of the other parts to Spotify Wrapped is the genres of the music you listen to! For this year, Spotify highlighted users’ specific months of listening with goofy generated genres.   I asked students what their favorite genre was for this year’s Wrapped!

Spotify Wrapped is an annual event that brings music listeners from all around the world together. Apex High School students connect in this event every year by presenting what they have enjoyed all throughout the year. Everyone has unique tastes on music and Spotify Wrapped is a great way to show that to people.
