2025 Presidential plans

With the outcome of the 2024 Presidential election done, the country awaits new
potential changes that can impact states, counties and yourself. Trump’s incoming
administration plans on making many important changes during his future
Presidency.

Trump plans on continuing his “build the wall” campaign from his 2016
Presidency by starting the largest deportation of illegal immigrants in American
history. Trump will do this by working with Custom Enforcements, whilst
collaborating with law enforcements to identify and deport people living in the
country illegally.

Similarly, Trump has also talked about ending birthright citizenship. What does this
mean? This means that if someone were illegally entered into the country, or were
traveling on a visa and gave birth on US soil despite neither parent being of
American citizenship, they would get citizenship. However, legal experts have
argued that Trump lacks the authority to overturn the 14th amendment to end
birthright citizenship, since only congress can make an amendment.

A big agenda this year in America is the arguments of abortions and their
ethicalness. Despite many Republican politicians who argue for a complete ban of
abortion, Trump has stated himself that he has no plans to do so. Instead, Trump
wants to leave it up to the states to choose what they want to do with abortions,
even going as far to say on Truth Social that he would veto any federal abortion
ban that comes his way back in October. Trumps Tweet.

In terms of economical plans that Trump plans to introduce during his future
Presidency, there are the famed tariffs which Trump plans on charging a total of
10-20% on imported foreign goods. As America is the world’s largest consumer
market, Trump has expressed that his objective in creating tariffs is to reduce the
dependency on other countries’ industries and create a stronger industry within
America. This would create more jobs, whilst making imported goods more
expensive and shifting people towards domestic manufactured goods.

In terms of education, Trump plans to completely abolish the Department of
Education to reduce Washington’s influence in classrooms and called for the
exemption of federal funding to schools pushing “Critical Race Theory, gender
ideology, or other inappropriate racial, sexual, or political content”.

Alongside this, Trump wishes to improve America’s national defense in the world
by approaching world affairs in an ‘isolationist-diplomatic’ policy. This will
minimize American involvement in international conflicts, and protect America’s
economic and strategic interests.

Trump’s administration will take office on January 20th, which is an historic moment for everyone. Whether you are happy with the 2024 election or not, you can only send your best wish and luck for the prosperity
of our nation.
