Homecoming Parade 2024
The Apex homecoming parade is coming up soon! The original date of September 27th was unfortunately postponed due to Hurricane Helene. After some rescheduling, the parade was moved and will take place on Friday, October 18th in Downtown Apex.
The parade will have the Apex Dance Team, Apex Cheerleaders, Apex varsity football team, Apex High band, the homecoming king and queen, the homecoming court, and clubs at Apex High School. Additionally, several clubs will be participating including Key Club, ASL, NAHS, and Environmental Club will be in the parade as well.
On September 21st, it was announced that 19 students were nominated for the 2024 homecoming court. The names of the 19 students who were nominated were:

During halftime at the homecoming football game, it was announced that Apex High School’s 2024 homecoming king and queen were Presley Moyer and Ryan Hoder. Along with announcing the 2024 homecoming king and queen, the Cougars beat the Cary Imps 33-22 in the homecoming game. The Cougars touchdowns were scored by Cade Earl (‘25), Kyle Hulse (‘27), Kaiden Dupree (‘26), and Kaleb Morrow (‘25).
In conclusion, you should bring friends and family to the Apex High School parade on Friday, October 18th to celebrate the Cougar’s homecoming win and our homecoming court. The parade route will start on Salm Street between Apex Baptist Church and the Skate Park. Everyone is welcome to watch the parade at no cost at all.
