When the leaves begin to turn orange and red, the temperature starts to drop, and shorts and shirts turn to sweatshirts and leggings, the fun fall activities begin. Let’s talk about some local fall activities that will be fun with friends and family this fall!
Farmers Market
The local farmer’s market is a great place to go and get meats, cheeses, crafts, bakery items, ice cream, coffee, custom picture framing, old-fashioned candies, N.C. gifts, soaps, and lotions.

Pumpkin Patches
Pumpkin Patches are a fun place to go with friends and family. Pumpkin Patches are a great place to take pictures, pick pumpkins, go on a hayride, do a corn maze, and some even have petting zoos.

Decorating for Halloween
With Halloween right around the corner, putting up decorations is an amazing way to get into the spooky spirit. Some easy ways to decorate for Halloween are sock pumpkins, colorful hanging ghosts, twine pumpkins, DIY concrete skull candle holders, and many more.

NC State Fair
The NC State Fair is open this fall from October 17th to October 27th. The State Fair has free entertainment, thrilling rides, thousands of animals, many family activities, competitions, vendors, and creative deep-fried delights.

In conclusion, the Triangle has many different fall activities that can be done with friends and family. Spending the weekend to go out with friends and family will make fall so much more enjoyable.
