In nearing the end of the school year, final exams and finishing assignments are probably what’s on your mind as a high schooler at Apex High. But with the current school year ending, the new school year is soon approaching. Looking ahead at the different types of activities that you can participate in at the start of the 2024-2025 school year can help prepare you to be more involved in the school community.

Sports

Fall sports at Apex are something to look forward to right at the start of the school year. These include: cross country, football, boys soccer, girls volleyball, cheerleading, girls tennis, girls gymnastics, and dance. Joining sports is a great way to build new connections and create new friendships for the new school year. Tryouts are usually during the summer, so making sure you are updated on your specific sport will help you stay involved in the Apex sports community!

Performing Arts

From theater to chorus or band to dance, Apex High has a variety of opportunities to explore performing arts. By signing up for courses that align with these art forms, you can make the most of your artistic experience at Apex. This will open doors to participate in musical performances, dance shows, and competitions!

Clubs

Be on the lookout for club fairs at the start of the year! This is a great chance to find clubs that might interest you or even new clubs that might appeal to you. Posters around the school are great areas to get information about club dates and events. Some of the clubs at Apex include academic clubs, art/music clubs, cultural clubs, volunteer clubs, and interest clubs. By partaking in these clubs from the start of the school year, you can further your interests and grow your knowledge.
