Since prom is less than a week away, here is some important information you need to know in order to have a great time. 

First things first: tickets. Tickets are $79, and while this might seem on the pricier side, a lot of things come with the tickets. You get snacks and food correlated to the theme, an entry to the Embassy Suites ballroom, a party favor, DJ, and more. 

Prom is being held at the Embassy Suites in Raleigh (201 Harrison Oaks Blvd, Cary, NC 27513) from seven to eleven P.M. on May 10th, 2024. Students are not able to stay at the hotel after prom. Transportation will not be provided, and students will need to find their own rides to and from the hotel. 

Friends and dates from other schools and underclassmen are allowed to go to prom if brought by a junior or senior at Apex High. Everyone must fill out a permission slip and have it signed by your parents. You can find this document on the Apex Prom Instagram page as well as the Apex High School homepage. Students from other schools must fill out the bottom of a printed permission slip and have the parent of the other student sign it. 

In order to pick up tickets you must have a photo ID, a receipt of your ticket purchase, and the permission slips. You are able to start picking up prom tickets outside of Mr. Clark’s room (1224) during both lunches until May 9th. You are also able to purchase tickets until May 8th. In order to get into prom you will need your photo ID and the printed ticket you picked up.  Last thing to mention is the theme! This year is a celestial celebration under the stars. Dress code will remain as followed by WCPSS guidelines. Once you have gone into the ballroom at the hotel, you will not be allowed to reenter if you leave.
