Five Ways to Celebrate National Exercise Day

National Exercise Day (April 18th) is a day to motivate people to take the time to exercise. Desk jobs and lazy lifestyles are the new normal, but National Exercise Day reminds us that it’s important to keep our bodies in shape. Whether you’re a sports enthusiast or just someone just trying to get motivated, National Fitness Day brings many opportunities to try out new activities. Here I listed five things I would do to celebrate National Exercise Day:

1. Try A New Workout: Try something that you have never done before.

2. Take A Short Walk: Walking or taking a hike is the least exerting form of exercise. Try to put on your running shoes, go outside, and get some fresh air!

3. Try to get involved in community fitness events: National Exercise Day often offers group activities, fitness exercises, and events happening in different communities, so go out there and try to find your match!

4. Make strength and cardio training a priority: It’s important to include strength and cardio in your fitness routine. So make sure to dedicate some time to weight lifting and running.

5. Embrace outdoor adventures: Take advantage of the beautiful weather this spring by participating in outdoor activities like hiking or swimming.

National Exercise Day is a reminder that our physical health is valuable and that we shouldn’t take it for granted. So smile as you push yourself to new records and limits through exercise, and motivate others to join you towards a healthier and happier future by celebrating National Exercise Day!
