It can be challenging to think of fun activities, especially during this time of year when the usual options like sports games are limited and it’s not quite warm enough to go to the beach or pool. That’s why I want to share with you some of my favorite places I have been with my friends!

If you are a dog lover, you will love Petland. Petland is a pet adoption place that teams up with ethical and certified breeders. Petland has one location in Morrisville and another one in Raleigh. This is a fun place to go with friends, as you can book a puppy playtime appointment for free. With this appointment, you can play and hold all of the puppies they currently have up for adoption. I went with my friends, and it was so hard to leave as the puppies were so adorable. This place is also great if you are looking for a dog to adopt, as they have a great variety of dogs and take outstanding care of them.

Another great place to go with friends is Color Me Mine. Color Me Mine is a relaxing place you can go with friends, with various things to paint, from coffee mugs to piggy banks. Some of you may have gone here a lot when you were little, but it’s also super fun in high school. I have gone with my friends recently, and we had a lot of fun talking and painting. I recommend going if you ever feel stressed about something, as it can help you take a break from that problem and enjoy painting!

If you and your friends are very competitive, I have one last great place to recommend. Drive Shack is a place where you can golf, order food, and socialize with friends. This is an enjoyable place to go, especially at night. I am not a very good golfer, but I still had such a fun time laughing and socializing with my friends. Drive Shack is located in Raleigh and stays open till 12 AM. I recommend this to anyone looking for a competitive challenge against their friends. 

Overall, I have been to all of these places and had such an amazing time with my friends. It’s important to make sure you and your friends are not just on your phone the whole time when hanging out and actually find time to socialize with each other.
