Places to Eat Near Apex, NC

Have you ever been bored of eating at the same places all the time and wanted a good new place to eat in our area? From cozy cafes to fancy restaurants, Apex, North Carolina, offers many good dining options. This article will give diverse and delicious restaurants that make great dining places. Whether you’re into global flavors or classic comfort food, our area has so much to offer. So let’s dig into some of our students’ favorite places to eat around our area!

I did a survey and sent it to many students at Apex about which type of food was their favorite; almost half (48%) said their favorite food was Mexican food. Our area offers many different Mexican restaurants ranging from nice dine-in restaurants to fast take-out food. While interviewing students, many of them said their favorite restaurant in the area was La Rancherita, which is located in downtown Apex. Addisyn Strable said La Rancherita is her favorite restaurant because “the food tastes amazing, and it is a fun place to meet up with friends and hang out.” Natalie Andrew said, “I love going to La Rancherita with my friends after sporting events because it’s not too expensive and the food is outstanding.” Some other top Mexican restaurants students in our area recommended were Los Tres, Mi Cancun, and Mamacitas, which are all located in Apex, North Carolina. 

The second most popular favorite type of food was sushi. Many different students love sushi restaurants and gave great reviews on many of them. A top favorite was the restaurant Sushi Iwa, located in Beaver Creek, in Apex. Levi Reed explains Sushi Iwa is his favorite restaurant because “the sushi there is the best sushi I have ever tasted. I love how there are always deals there that help me save so much money. I recommend this restaurant to everyone!”. Another popular sushi restaurant students at Apex love is Genki Restaurant and Sushi Bar, located in Cary. Maggie Pascuzzi says, “I love Genki because it has a great atmosphere and also has many different things on their menus that I love, such as their California roll and their chicken hibachi.” Some other top recommended sushi restaurants were Sushi SUYU and Wassabi, which are located in Apex and Cary. 

Finally, the third top-rated type of food was American food. Our area has so many different restaurants that serve American food with different atmospheres and menu items. One very popular was Craft, located in Cary. Anna Null says, “I love Craft because it has the best buffalo chicken dip ever. I recommend it to anyone who goes!”. Another popular restaurant was Scratch, located in downtown Apex. Annie McCurdy says, “Scratch is my favorite place to eat because it is very close to our school and offers great indoor and outdoor seating. All the staff is very friendly, and they have many amazing food options. 

Overall, if you’re ever in need of recommendations for where to eat, go on a date, or hang out with friends, Apex High School students have some great options to offer. Living in an area with a diverse range of food choices and places to visit is truly a blessing, and I hope that these recommendations inspire you to try out some new spots.
