As I ready myself for a new chapter in my life, I can’t help but reflect on the incredible journey that high school has been. From virtual learning freshman year to my final months as a senior, the walls of Apex High School have witnessed my growth, challenges, and triumphs.
I have been taught and encouraged to be successful in and out of the classroom. From conquering the complexities of geometry to navigating the complexities of friendship, every challenge has been a stepping stone toward the person I am today. I am so grateful to the many teachers, counselors, and peers who have been a part of my journey. One of the most memorable moments of my high school career was when I was told that we have a Newspaper class. I have always been enthusiastic about writing and this was such an amazing opportunity for me to do what I love with people who love it as well. I am so thankful for Mrs. McGee and her support, and I also want to thank the friends that I have made in class and the laughs and memories we have made.
With graduation nearing and my plan to attend Southeastern University for a college degree, I reflect upon all the good, bad, and ugly that made my high school experience one to treasure and never forget. Apex High School created a foundation for my future that has spurred me to dream bigger, smile wider, and achieve my goals. I will forever be grateful for the love, laughter, and advice that I have received from my peers, family, and friends, and can’t wait to see what my future brings!
