North Carolina is known for its hot weather, but I bet people are excited for the cool breeze. Fall’s tone is far beyond leaves – it incorporates watching beautiful sunrises and nightfalls from a similar spot on the oceanfront, jumping on family-accommodating hayrides in the wake of picking pumpkins, and enjoying fall flavors at beautiful occasions and lager celebrations. From the Blue Ridge Parkway up in the mountains to the small towns such as Apex, there are different things you can do.
Upcoming events in NC can include Bond Park Boathouse events, fall music festivals, Ocean Fest in Surf City, fall Nascar weekend, and the State Fair of course! These bring food and entertainment to the table. You get to enjoy watching live bands, overlooking lakes, watching live shows, and even going on some rides! Family and friends can enjoy pumpkin and apple picking at places such as Darnell Farms or The Orchard At Altapass. There are many hiking trails and campsites with lots of fall foliage!
