Out of around forty participants who successfully competed at the NC DECA Career Development Conference in
Greensboro, NC this past month, twenty-one have qualified for the International Career Development Conference that will be hosted in Anaheim, California. All participants at the state level chose between the various career cluster options: Marketing, Hospitality + Tourism, Finance, and Business Management + Administration. Each state level top ten finalist who has qualified for the April international competition has displayed a mastery of skill through either business exam testing and role-play business scenarios or a written business plan. The Apex DECA Chapter as a whole was
proud to be titled as a ‘Diamond Chapter of the Year Regional Finalist’ and was recognized with the ‘Chapter of Distinction’ Award.
